Eid-ul-Fitr is the most important festival of the Islamic religion. It is also known as Meethi Eid. At the same time, this day also marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The actual date of celebrating Eid depends on the sighting of the moon. The sighting of the moon occurs as per the Islamic calendar and the actual sighting of the moon is awaited. It is being said that if the moon is sighted on completion of 29th Roza, then Eid will be celebrated on 10th April. At the same time, if the moon is visible after completion of 30th Roza, then Eid can be celebrated on 11th April.
How to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr?
- First of all people take holy bath.
- It is very important to offer Namaz in the morning on the day of Eid.
- After offering Namaz, people hug each other and wish Eid Mubarak.
- Women make sweets and vermicelli at home with lots of dry fruits.
- On this occasion people wear new clothes and go to the mosque for namaz.
- Coming back home they eat that sweet dish and also distribute it among relatives and friends.
- On this day, it is considered auspicious to feed the needy, give them money and clothes.
- On this day, even a bad habit is abandoned to please Allah.
