Cooler installed to protect Ramlala from heat, seasonal fruits, rabri and curd being offered as offering.

To protect Ramlala from the heat, a cooler has been installed in the sanctum sanctorum. Due to the continuously increasing temperature, Ramlala was facing the heat of summer. Amar Ujala drew the attention of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust towards this by publishing the news titled “Ramlala is scorching in 37 degree temperature” in its Saturday issue. A cooler has been installed in the sanctum sanctorum on Saturday.

There is a belief that the idols which are consecrated, God resides in them. Like normal living beings, they also feel cold, heat, hunger and thirst. Ramlala is present in the Ram temple in the form of a five year old boy. Therefore he is served like a child. Acharya Satyendra Das, Chief Archak of Ramjanmabhoomi, said that the trust has made arrangements for a cooler in the sanctum sanctorum. AC has also arrived. That too will be done by Sunday. To protect Ramlala from the heat, his Raag-Bhog has also been changed. Ramlala is being dressed in knitted clothes. Curd and rabri have been increased in the offering. Seasonal fruits are also being offered.

Shakti worship will be held in Ramlala’s court for nine days

Shakti worship will be done as per rituals for nine days in the court of Ramlala. On the beginning of Chaitra Navratri, nine-day rituals will begin with the installation of the Kalash in the court of Ramlala on April 9. The festival of Ram Janmotsav will be celebrated grandly in Ram Mandir on 17th April. After five hundred years, Ramlala is going to celebrate Ramjanmotsav in a grand palace. Therefore, preparations are being made in full swing by Ram Mandir Trust to make the festival historic.

Ramlala’s head priest Acharya Satyendra Das said that the Kalash will be installed on a silver pedestal on the day of Hindu New Year. After this, along with Ramlala, Maa Durga will also be worshiped for nine days. The Vedic Acharya will worship Mother Shakti according to the method of worship prescribed during Navratri. Durga Saptashati will be recited daily for nine days. Oblations will be offered in the Havan Kund with Veda mantras.

Gods and Goddesses will be invited
All the Gods and Goddesses including Maa Durga will be formally invited in the grand temple on the first birth anniversary of Ramlala i.e. Ramnavmi. On the occasion of the birth anniversary, on Navami Tithi, 56 types of dishes will be offered to Ramlala and the Prasad will be distributed to all the devotees. Prasad will also be distributed on Dashami Tithi. The outline of many other programs is being prepared by the Trust.
