On the second day of voting for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee once again got injured. His foot slipped while boarding the helicopter in Durgapur. He has currently been taken to Asansol. In a video related to this incident, it can be clearly seen that while boarding the helicopter, her foot slipped and she fell. The security personnel present there ran to pick him up. Mamta has suffered minor injuries due to the fall.
This is not the first time that Mamta has been injured many times before. Recently Mamta was injured at her residence. She had fallen while walking on campus, causing a serious head injury. He was immediately taken to SSKM Hospital for treatment, where he was also given stitches.
Earlier, during the election campaign in 2021, he was pushed by some people in Nandigram, due to which he got injured in his leg. He had described this incident which took place outside a temple in Reyapara as part of a conspiracy.
