America has banned three Chinese companies and one Belarusian company. This ban has been imposed on these companies for providing ballistic missile parts to Pakistan. US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller gave this information. The three Chinese companies that have been banned by the US include Longday Technology Development Key Xi, Tianjin Creative Source International Trade and Granpect Company Limited.
Accused of providing parts to Pakistan’s ballistic missile program
At the same time, Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant Company of Belarus has also been banned. These four companies are accused of helping in Pakistan’s ballistic missile program. Matthew Miller said that these companies have been found to be involved in the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Due to which action has been taken against them. The US State Department said that the Belarus company Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant Company was providing special vehicle chassis for Pakistan’s long-range ballistic missile program. This chassis is used in launch support in ballistic missiles.
Assets of banned companies will be confiscated
The US State Department reported that Chinese company Granpect Co. Ltd. was providing filament winding machines to the National Development Complex (NDC), a long-range ballistic missile manufacturing body in Pakistan. This machine was being used in rocket motor. A Chinese company, Tianjin Creative Source International Trade Company Limited, was found involved in supplying welding related tools and accelerator systems to Pakistan.Â
Under the ban, the assets of these companies in America will be confiscated. Company owners and major shareholders will also be banned. Even before this, America had imposed sanctions on three companies for helping in Pakistan’s ballistic missile program. These three companies are General Technology Limited, Beijing Luo Luo Technology Development Limited and Changzhou Utech Composite Company Limited. These three companies are also from China.
