Kidney racket busted in Gurgaon, medical visa was supposed to be from Kolkata

There is a stir in the medical industry after the revelation of kidney transplant by the Chief Minister Flying Squad. Patients from Bangladesh were lured in the name of Gurugram city. All medical facilities were provided to him by making him stay in a luxurious guest house in Sector-39. Earlier the patient was tricked by referring to the famous hospital of Gurugram. Later, his kidney transplant was done in the Jaipur branch of the same hospital. Kidney donor Shamim told that he runs a mobile shop in Bangladesh. After seeing an advertisement for kidney transplant on Facebook, he contacted an agent named Mohammad Murtaza Ansari, a resident of Ranchi.

Mehndi Majumdar, a resident of Bangladesh, told that many of his acquaintances are Mohd. He has undergone kidney transplant in India through Murtaza Ansari. An officer of the Chief Minister Flying Squad said that between Rs 10 to 20 lakh was taken from the transplant recipients. Kidney donors were selected only through brokers. Which were prepared by paying a nominal amount. He was brought to India through medical visa only after his blood group and other tests were done. So far it has come to light that the people who donated their kidneys were brought to India on medical visas from Kolkata. DCP East Dr. Mayank Gupta said that a team is being sent to Fortis Hospital in Jaipur to investigate the matter.

All youth who donate kidney

Police investigation has revealed that all of the people who sold their kidneys are youth. His age is said to be between 24 to 32 years. In return for donating his kidney, he was given only Rs 2 lakh. Whereas the age of those who undergo kidney transplant is up to 66 years. The people who have donated kidneys do not have any blood relation with each other. The police is still investigating on many points. This gang used to charge Rs 10 to 20 lakh from those who got kidney transplant.

There was collusion with the hospital staff

During interrogation of the patients found in the guest house, it was revealed that Mohd. A young man named Murtaza Ansari had brought all of them here. The patients who did not undergo transplant were asked to be taken to Fortis Hospital in Jaipur. Two patients were brought here after undergoing transplant from Fortis. It was also revealed that Agent Ansari was in collusion with some employees at Fortis Hospital in Jaipur.
