The news comes after KuldeepChahal took 4 wickets in his last IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders.

The best friends of the Indian cricket team, Kuldeep and Chahal are popularly known as Kulcha. Both are close to each other and appreciate one another’s game. Recently both of them encountered the same fate as they lost their positions in the Indian one-day international team.

But the duo of Kulcha is back in their form in Indian Premier League 2022. They are emerging as the two most promising bowlers of the season. They may be friends outside the field, but inside, they are eagerly fighting for the purple cap. At present, Chahal is closer to achieving it as he has taken 18 wickets in eight matches.

However, Yadav climbed up in the list of leading bowlers and reached the second spot. Now he has 17 wickets in his name, with a strike rate of 10.47. The four wickets that he took playing against Kolkata Knight Riders helped him achieve this feat. He took four wickets by giving 14 runs in the match held at Wankhede Stadium. While Chahal has 18 wickets with a strike rate of 10.65.

So, you can see how close the battle is! As both are friends, Yadav stated that Chahal is not his rival, and there is no competition. He added that the latter has always encouraged him and stood by his side in his bad times.

Both are like brothers to each other. Yadav wants outside the field friend to win the purple cap. He also appreciated Chahal’s exceptional bowling in the last four years.

He also said that the time when he was struggling to gain wickets made him mentally stronger. According to him, failures in life can teach you so many things. If you figure out the things that stop you from getting successful, you become stronger. After that, you no longer fear failure.

The spinner of the Delhi Capitals team further added that this season is his best in IPL. He has revived his skills a lot. He concluded that his focus for this season would be to serve the ball in the right areas.
