The authority told the media that they had refused the movie for its one-sided and provocative portrayal. It depicted the persecution of Hindus in a conflict in the valley. These depictions can potentially disrupt the harmony among different communities. The administration feared interruption in the social cohesion in the state’s multi-religious and multi-racial society.

According to the officials, they cannot allow any material that disturbs the religious harmony in Singapore.

Pallavi Joshi, Puneet Issar, ChinmayMandlekar, DarshanKumaar, Mithun Chakraborty, and AnupamKher acted in the film.
