This incident follows a similar bomb threat sent to 40 schools in Delhi just days earlier on December 9, which was later confirmed to be a hoax. Authorities are investigating the origins of the emails, believed to be linked to a group operating on the dark web, but no arrests have been made so far​.
The threats have highlighted the need for increased vigilance and security measures in educational institutions while causing disruptions to school operations and anxiety among students and parents.
